Welcome to Davenport Angus.
We got started into the Angus Business in 1998 with the help of my late father James Davenport. He loved good cattle and when we seen an ad for Schaff Angus Valley sale, we sent for a catalog and we attended and purchased two bred heifers and a Saugahatchee herd bull. On the way home dad made this comment, "The only thing we did wrong was we should've bought all of the bred heifers."
Since then we have purchased our seed stock mainly from SAV and along with becoming partners with four herd sires such as:

Presently we are very excited at this time of our lives to be able to purchase a great donor from the SAV program the Magnificent SAV Madame Pride 9803. She has been enrolled in our embryo program and we are excited to be offering the matings from some of the freshest genetics in the Angus breed to the public.
